Paul McCartney & Decca Bury the Hatches



I'm sure you've heard by now but Paul McCartney recently has signed to Decca Records - the record company who famously denied the Beatles a record contract some 50 odd years ago (can we say biggest regret EVER).

Any way McCartney won't be recording a record with Decca but rather will be working with them on the score for McCartney's first ballet (his daughter is also on this project) - Oceans Kingdom - which is set to debut on September 22nd in NYC.

This happens to be my birthday so for those of you still looking for gift ideas look no further (kidding - or am I?)

The Greatest aka the Beatles

Every great music blog in the making should kick off with The Beatles right? RIGHT. The Beatles are one of the best - if not the best bands out there. They have inspired tons of today's artists like Kanye, Justin Timberlake, The Red Hot Chili Peppers - I could go on but why bother. They don't just inspire artists of today but they inspire people like you and me and this guy - Lee Gingold - clearly gets what the Beatles are all about...
